Road Trip

Brett and I have done many trips, but we've never done a road trip. This year it worked really well for us to do another little trip over the 4th of July week. So we went on a road trip to California. We left on a Monday after Brett got off work and drove all the way to Reno.

Tuesday we stopped at the Jelly Belly Factory and did a tour and then drove to Big Basin Redwoods state park.

Wednesday we hiked 12 miles in the redwoods. It was awesome! I loved the trees!

Thursday we went to downtown San Francisco and went on a bay cruise, toured a battleship, rode bikes over the Golden Gate Bridge, went to an aquarium, and watched the fireworks.

Friday we toured an airplane carrier, went to a flower conservatory, went to the California Academy of Sciences, and went to the Oakland Temple.

Saturday we went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Then Sunday we drove all the way home. It was another awesome trip!
